THE RECON PLATOON REUNION FOR 2013 WILL BE AT SAVANNAH, GEORGIA  14, 15, 16 JUNE 2013.. ALL MEMBERS OF RECON THAT SERVED AT TAN TRU AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE WELCOME.

My name is Mark D. Brockway I served as platoon sergeant of Recon platoon 2/60th Inf. from December 1968 thru May 1969 at Tan Tru, Vietnam. This site is dedicated to the men I served with during that time . The actual time we spent together was small when compared to a life time, but it will always be remembered. I retired from the US Army in 1987 after 26 years of service as a Sergeant Major E9. I will never forget the men of RECON. RECON FOREVER

   RECON   FOREVER

The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA) is providing the Military Reunion Listings as a FREE service to the veteran community. I search the internet looking for reunions and then send requests for the information to the listed POC. I sent 2,162 reunion organizations e-mails requesting information on their 2006 reunions, and unfortunately 35 % failed to respond. We have 1,398 listings on the archived calendar year 2006 listing. With the last listing update, we have over 1,300 reunion listings for calendar years 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

 

 

 

 


Please take a look at our website, www.trea.org, scroll down the left side and click on Reunions/Buddies, and this will bring up the reunion page. As reunions are completed, they are transferred to the Completed Listing at the end of the month. There, they will remain as a reference point for someone looking for a unit contact. My intention is that each calendar year reunions will be individually listed.
